Sustainability, Systems & Story

I’m Bahareh Jahan Bakhsh — a Sustainability and Change Manager, PhD researcher, and two-time cancer survivor.
My work sits at the intersection of sustainability strategy, ESG governance, circularity, energy transition, strategic and organisational transformation.
With over 15 years of international experience across Europe and the Middle East, I help organisations translate sustainability ambition into practical roadmaps, measurable performance systems and long-term value.
I am particularly interested in how data, governance and emerging technologies — including AI-supported ESG analytics — can help institutions and companies make better sustainability decisions.

Alongside my professional role, I am pursuing a PhD in Sustainable Development and Cooperation, with a research focus on Renewable Energy Transition and decision-support systems.

Beyond my professional work, I am a cancer advocacy figure, contributing through translated books, podcasts and seminars to support others through illness, healing and recovery.

My mission is to contribute to systems change with technical rigour, strategic vision and human awareness, because true sustainability is not only about environmental performance, but also about responsibility, resilience and the people behind every transition.
